If someone pays you to be their friend, are they REALLY your friend?
Our Prime Minister, Theresa May has been to Saudi Arabia this week. She’s been sucking up to them so they buy more arms and military training from Britain.
Saudi Arabia’s values are the complete opposite to ours. They have an appalling record on human rights and hold public beheadings. Women are second class citizens and are not even allowed to drive. If they get raped, it’s the women who go on trial accused of asking for it. In 2015 a woman who was gang raped was sentenced to 200 lashes.
Saudi Arabia practices gender apartheid. When South Africa ran a system of apartheid, Britain imposed sanctions on them but Theresa May, a WOMAN, turns a blind eye to what Saudi Arabia do.
While she was in Saudi Arabia, she did take time to speak out about another pressing issue…
Yes, she’s more bothered about the National Trust removing the word “Easter” from their Cadburys “Chocolate Egg Hunt”.
She didn’t have anything to say about the Saudi-led coalition bombing in Yemen, backed by the British government, which has left thousands dead, 21 million people in need of humanitarian assistance and three million refugees uprooted from their homes. But Britain gets a lot of money from Saudi Arabia so she keeps quiet.
There’s a message there for you Iran, North Korea and Syria. If you want to be our friend, how much money have you got?
Britain has just fallen out with 27 countries in Europe AND the National Trust, we need all of the friends we can buy.
