Boaty McBoatface and the end of democracy as we know it!

I don’t like scientists who think they’re better than us.

The official name of a new British multi-million pound polar research vessel is unlikely to be “Boaty McBoatface”, despite winning a public poll. The public overwhelmingly voted for it to be the name in a poll that closed at the weekend. It got more than 120,000 votes, 90,000 ahead of the second favourite.

Britain’s Natural Environment Research Council had asked people to come up with an “inspirational” name for the new ship. Now it turns out that polar research scientists don’t fancy working on board a ship called “Boaty McBoatface” so it’s not going to happen.

I’m sorry, but if you have a vote and you don’t like the result, you just have to live with it. That’s how democracy works!

Honestly these scientist who work at the earth’s polar axis are behaving as if the world revolves around them!
