Don’t be a Flow Coach.

17Apr14

Why do people say they want to “go with the flow”? Nothing worth having comes easy or accidentally. Positive changes can only be made by going where the flow doesn’t go.

I agree with what Ricky Gervais had to say on the subject a few years ago. He said, “I don’t know what happiness is but it’s definitely NOT just going with the flow. Going with the flow, for Christ sake? Don’t ever go with the flow. Stop the flow, go against the flow, start the flow, but don’t under any circumstance just go with the flow.”

He’s right, what kind of world would we live in if Einstein, Edison, the Wright brothers, Ford or Jobs had decided to just “go with the flow”?

It’s even more serious if “the flow” is heading in the wrong direction and to “go with the flow” means doing nothing and saying nothing.

Here’s a one-word reason why you should think very carefully before you “go with the flow”, – Holocaust.

Craic on!
