Brian May Gets Lost in Hertfordshire but Arrives in Time to Close BOB fm’s Mega Concert at Knebworth.

Thank you to everyone involved in BOBisphere 2014. In case you missed it, some of the biggest names in rock and pop played live in the grounds of Knebworth House. It was an exclusive show for BOB.

A crowd in excess of a hundred and twenty thousand were entertained by Status Quo, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Led Zeppelin, Paul McCartney, Dire Straits, Duran Duran, Robbie Williams, Eric Clapton, Oasis, Pink Floyd, Tom Jones, and many more.

The entire live event was broadcast live by BOB fm on DAB in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

The show was closed by George Michael and the surviving members of Queen in a recreation of their collaboration in 1992, during The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert. Queen guitarist Brian May almost didn’t make it to the event. He’s played at Knebworth many times but has always arrived by helicopter. This time he decided to drive himself but his sat nav gave up and he became hopelessly lost. With time running out, he called the hosts of the event, Graham Mack and Jules who were able to give him directions.

Craic on!
